Convenient location.
Room was not aesthetically pleasing.

Hotel was average, but sufficient for my trip. Hotel staff was excellent,
they went out of
the way to resolve the problem.

Big swimming pool. Convenient location. Good price.
2 of 4 elevators out of service. ice machine broken.

The best price I found in Washington, D.C. The location was in a safe, convenient neighborhood with a CVS across the street. But never enough staff on duty. Always had to wait for help at front desk or when calling. My credit card was charged for stay even though I paid in advance, but it was quickly corrected when I called. Beautiful pool with lifeguard. Clean and fairly classy hotel. No free internet or wireless access. Non-functioning elevators the biggest hassle. ...read more

Front desk staff was friendly & courteous.
Had 4 elevators, but only 2 at a time ever ran.

The hotel was in a good location for downtown area, just a few blocks from sightseeing. Front desk was friendly, courteous & helpful. Rooms were good for the star rating. With renovations scheduled for July they will be nice. I would recommend the hotel to friends. Pool hours could have been a little longer in the evening so the kids would have more time to swim and relax. ...read more

Great service
Road construction - hard to get to

For a 2* hotel, it more than exceeded my expectations, overall. The only bad part is $18.00 per night self parking, and $23.00 per night using the valet. A little steep, I think. Otherwise, it was clean, and as convenient as the 4* across the street at triple the price. I did not eat at the restaurant, but the bar was clean and the bartenders were competent. ...read more

Location.
Service.

Receptionist was less than efficient in helping us to check in. We had two rooms, and they gave us the wrong keys.

The bar.
The sales manager was extrememly rude, there was a power outage, she did nothing.

The bar is wonderful. The bartenders are great. However, there was a power outage for an entire day and the manager refused to compensate us in any way, blatantly lied to our faces, and was generally rude, condescending, belittling, and incompetent. ...read more
